While creating new content solely using AI isn’t favored by readers or search engines, there are ways in which AI tools are the best assistants our businesses can have (because of how quick they are, plus most are free for the basic functions).
So I let ChatGPT do some brainstorming with me, helping me re-organize my blog categories and niche down in my business, as well as map out my product suite in the most effective way.
It turned out to be really helpful, even with branding ideas and ways to scale.
It’s also pretty good at suggesting what you might need next, or giving you two versions of the same thing so you can pick the one that fits you better. Plus, I love how it remembers the whole conversation so far (in that same tab) and keeps it in mind while giving you the next suggestions.
And all this with its free version and without spending too much time writing your prompts. With better prompts, you’d get even better answers.
Let’s dive in.
1. Descriptions (for anything, really).
The conversation began with my request for a short description to summarize my newsletter (as I was going to promote it on a new platform and wanted a good summary).
My prompt was simple:
“I run https://letsreachsuccess.com/ and have a newsletter. It’s about blogging tips and strategies but also mindset, and content updates and personal growth and business. Write a short description in an enticing way.”
And the tool’s answer was pretty good. It then asked me if I want more versions, and here’s what it suggested:
“1. Playful & Bold
Blog smarter, grow faster, live better.
Every week, I drop blogging gold, mindset magic, and personal biz updates straight to your inbox. No fluff, just real talk and real strategies.
2. Serious & Professional
Elevate your blogging game.
Get expert insights on strategy, mindset, and business growth — plus updates from Let’s Reach Success and my own journey.
3. Niche-Specific (For Bloggers Building a Biz)
For bloggers who want more than traffic.
Think: income growth, mindset upgrades, and building a business you love. Subscribe and start making your blog work for you.”
There were some really good taglines in this, and my next question was for the tool to write a short description of my site (without giving any more context). Here’s the result:
Short:
Let’s Reach Success is where aspiring and pro bloggers learn how to turn their content into cash. Packed with blogging tips, mindset hacks, and online biz strategies to help you grow with purpose and profit.
Course-Focused:
Let’s Reach Success helps bloggers go from content creators to course creators.

Personal Story Angle:

Lifestyle/Freedom Focused:

And even more versions:
Let’s Reach Success is where business meets personal evolution.
I share how to grow your blog and become the version of you who’s ready to succeed.
This isn’t just about pageviews and profit.
Let’s Reach Success is about building a business that aligns with your purpose, values, and vision for life.
Success starts on the inside. At Let’s Reach Success, I help bloggers shift their mindset, build income streams, and create a life of freedom.
Then a few with a softer tone:
Let’s Reach Success is a space for women ready to turn their blogs into beautiful, aligned businesses. We blend strategy with soul, mindset with flow, and ambition with ease.
This is for the woman who wants more than hustle. Let’s Reach Success is where intentional blogging meets empowered growth — so you can create success on your terms.
Your blog is your calling. Let’s Reach Success helps you nurture it into a business that feels good, flows naturally, and supports your dream life.
Let’s Reach Success is where structure meets soul. Here, we grow blogs into businesses — with intention, intuition, and inspired action.
Your blog isn’t just a platform — it’s a portal. Let’s Reach Success is where you turn ideas into income, and alignment into abundance.
I like different parts of these and combined them my way to create a new tagline for my site, and am adding some phrases to the homepage and anywhere else.
ChatGPT is also pretty good at writing meta descriptions for blog posts.
I copy/paste the article in it and ask for a meta description. It knows the format and maximum word count, so the first version of what it writes is usually already perfect.
2. Niche + topics brainstorming
I like to start new topics with ChatGPT in a new tab (unless the information I already gave is required for the new answer).
So my next question had to do with my blog categories.
I want to niche down and cover fewer topics than I currently do, and also organize the existing ones into fewer topics, which will be the core themes of the site and my brand.
Here’s what I asked:
“How can I write about blogging + business + money and still leave all my personal growth articles (and maybe add new ones) without confusing search engines?”
ChatGPT immediately understood I’m a multi-passionate creator and gave me options.
The first one was to define my core brand message and then make sure all my content connects to this bigger mission.
Something like: “Helping ambitious creators build freedom through blogging, business, and intentional living.”
That way, even my personal growth posts (mindset, habits, routines) feel aligned — because they support my readers on the path to success.
Another option it suggested is to use clear content buckets.
“Think of your blog like a magazine. Different sections, but all under the same brand.
You could structure it like this:
Blogging & Business: tutorials, tools, content strategy
Making Money Online: income reports, affiliate tips, passive income
Personal Growth: productivity, mindset, habits
Each “bucket” gets its own category page. This keeps your site organized and helps Google understand the relationships between topics.”
The third one was to connect the dots in content. Here’s the exact tip:
“You don’t have to keep things totally separate. Link between them.
Example: In a post about overcoming procrastination, you could say:
“As bloggers building an online business, procrastination can be a major growth blocker…”
Now it’s a mindset post for bloggers. See what I did there?”
And finally, I could create a personal growth hub page.
“If you have a lot of this kind of content (or want to grow it), create a dedicated hub like:
Intentional Living for Creators
Where you link out to all things personal development.
It helps Google see that it’s a sub-topic within your overall niche, not a random tangent.”
I have to say, all of this is pretty good advice. It gave me food for thought.
I then asked:
“What can be the names of the menu tabs of categories like Personal Growth, Blogging, Make Money Online and Business? Suggest something powerful and easy to understand but which is 1 word so it can fit in the menu.”
It suggested the following ones:
For Blogging:
Blog
Create
Content
Build
Write
Best pick: Blog — clean, direct, and everyone knows what to expect.
For Making Money Online:
Income
Profit
Earn
Money
Best pick: Earn — short, motivational, and open enough for all types of online income.

And here’s the sample menu I got:
Home
Blog
Earn
Grow
Thrive
About
Freebies
This is exactly want I needed help with, so as usual, the tool was really helpful and acting like a real assistant (with experience).
Next, it helped me decide what each category would cover.
1. Blog
Covers:

Content creation
SEO basics
Writing tips
Blog tools
This is your go-to space for all things blogging.
2. Earn

3. Grow

4. Thrive
Covers:
Mindset
Personal development
Habits
Routines
Confidence
Goal setting
This is your “personal growth for creators” zone.
I then asked to name those same categories but with a noun instead of a verb. This time it gave me exactly what I needed, and my current core topics of the site are:
Blogging
Income
Business
Mindset
Each existing category I have falls into one of these. Plus, I can create Hub pages for these and list my most important content there.
I updated my menu and it’s now organized like that. The Hub pages aren’t created yet, though.
So that’s how ChatGPT assisted me with brainstorming.
3. Page outline.
The next request I had was for a homepage outline.
I said: ‘Write the outline for a new homepage for Let’s Reach Success based on all the info above.’
Here’s what I got in response:

This is really good, I’d say. It got some things wrong, such as the product titles. But we didn’t discuss my actual products and it doesn’t know what courses I have. It also can’t really scan my whole site from what I know.
But what it included in the outline, how the sections are organized, where to add buttons or testimonials or images, it’s pretty good.
I didn’t use this outline as I just wanted to make small changes to the existing homepage layout, but this is just to show you what a great assistant ChatGPT can be for bloggers and website owners.
How I Used All These Tips and Ideas
I saved the best ones and created my own versions of them, but the immediate changes I made to the homepage and menu can be seen below:
That’s the new site title and description as well as the core topics in the menu, under which I’ve added category or tag pages that fit best.
There’s a lot more I want to update and I’ll use more of the help ChatGPT provided but that will take time. It also involves changes in my product suite which is a long-term project.
If you’ve been hesitating to use ChatGPT as your assistant so far, I hope this post inspires you to give it a try. It can get creative and suggest ideas you may have never thought of. You can then add your personal touch to them and make them your own.
What do you think?

When I use AI to write for me, even for those descriptions, I remind it to write in my style and prevent the most common styles that AI uses, like the negation format like this: “Your blog isn’t just a platform — it’s a portal.” It’s nothing critical, but I think it’s a good idea if even the descriptions read similarly with our posts. 🙂
Thanks for writing a great article about your experience using ChatGPT for blogging.
