This is how online business works in 2026
I needed help fast. Here’s what happened next.
I got a small story for you today + a big lesson in business.
Here we go:
I’m having a pressing issue these months that I need to resolve as soon as possible because it’s on my mind all the time and costing me a lot of effort.
It has to do with setting boundaries with my partner’s mother after some conflict we’ve had recently and me not wanting her to have my newborn baby at her place weekly just yet.
She is quite the dominant personality and likes to hold the power during conversations and to always be right, and I want to stand my ground and state my needs clearly, without letting emotions get in the way.
So I was looking for immediate solutions and did a quick research the other day. I was reading other people’s experiences on Reddit and felt validated.
After all, this is one of the most common issues in the world - a not so good relationship between a woman and her mother in law, which escalates when there’s a baby.
I never usually open Reddit or read forums, but this helped a bit. Someone mentioned and recommended a guy to follow on this topic whose got great advice.
I felt like checking him out on Instagram and I watched a couple videos.
I was immediately hooked!
It was exactly what I needed and most of his videos hit home. I could use many of his tips.
He was also very genuine, compassionate, trustworthy and had built a great brand online.
It took him minutes to win me, thanks to his brand and content.
He is an expert in conflict resolution, but in a peaceful way.
The main offer he had was his book so I checked it out.
Minutes later, it was in my Amazon shopping cart and I purchased it.
Two days later I was already reading it and feeling like I’m doing something about my issue.
I’m ready to learn a thing or two and try a whole new approach for communication with my mother in law, because what I’ve been doing so far simply hasn’t been working.
Why am I telling you this?
Because THIS is how you do business in 2026 and beyond.
This guy was so known for the exact problems he solves that I heard about him soon after doing a quick research on the topic and the moment I opened the first Reddit link I saw.
He then won my trust in minutes thanks to his IG profile, showing his expertise (millions of followers, him being a lawyer, but also having built an amazing brand around this one topic he specializes in).
He had just the right offer for me - low cost, something I already love (books), easy to get access to.
He converted me into a paid customer 30 minutes after I searched for a solution to my problem online for the first time.
Wow!
This is the power of building authority, specializing in one thing online, gaining so much trust that people want to recommend you all the time, having amazing content that engages people, gives quick wins and makes them binge watch your videos.
Replicate this model and you might have the same success
There are many factors that go into it, of course (the right niche, actually mastering your craft, teaching it well, the right content format, the right platform, making your content scroll-stopping and binge worthy, a great product, etc)
So if you want the same effect, start working on it.
Let’s all become experts in one thing in 2026, and actually nail it 😍
What do you think?
PS, If you’re curious, the guy I’m talking about is Jefferson Fisher (@jefferson_fisher on IG), and his book is called The Next Conversation).

It's a tough gig. And if Jefferson Fisher has the answers that help you - fantastic! If he knows his stuff and it's working then, good! I 'fixed" a similar issue by standing my ground until the marriage crumbled. So qudos to you! Wishing you all the best.
Wow I hope everything is fine with your mother in law🙏
It's actually great way to convert a customer, a real, purposeful one. Let's built it together!
I'm doing on self improvement :)
